What Is Vastu?
Vastu is the traditional ancient system of describing the principle design, layout and measurements which is supposed to bring along with promises of good health, wealth and happiness in life. The universal need for peace and harmony has increased the popularity and trust of people on vastu shastra. It is believed that placing of house plants according to vastu shastra brings positive energy and eliminates negativity in the house. The live plants can help balance the flow of energy and vibrations. Similarly, if plants in your house are not Vastu compliant, it could adversely affect your life. Vedic science and even Feng Shui believe that some specific plants bring negative energy in the house. There are some rules that need to be followed while selecting the plants to ensure a vastu friendly house.
Snake Plant Vastu Direction
According to vastu shastra, the snake plants should be placed indoors facing the southeast direction of the room. It is kept beside the bedroom to reduce stress and promote deep sleep and their study table or beside Tv to absorb harmful radiations. It should be placed in corners and shouldn’t be kept above any table or surfaces. You should always avoid keeping the potted plants in the north direction to avoid negative energy flow in your room. According to Feng shui, it is best to keep the snake plant at the entrance of the room. The Vastu principle is same for all types of snake plant varieties.
